Thrown Down the Sword

Created for a personal project linked to the TTRPG campaign I’ve been playing for over ten years.

Here, I wanted to convey that this is not a romantic moment but a dramatic one; she is crying, and she was seeking to make the ultimate sacrifice in a suicidal act. There is tenderness and gentleness, but the kiss was imposed as a ploy to make her let her guard down enough to disarm her without resorting to a fight.
I therefore opted for a low angle to convey that she is almost falling, overcome by despair, supported only by him, who nevertheless towers over her.
