Free village of Balan

Concept for Valiant Knight

The Free Village of Balan is located in an area of the Quiet Waters between the islands of Specularia and Forbilea, on the continent of Elvetar.
It is an aggregation of huts built on rafts, connected by walkways, constructed using the wrecks of ships destroyed by storms or sea monsters.
The village is built around a larger building in front of which stands a totem commemorating the sacrifice of a past village chief, which led to the defeat of a sea monster, whose bones were used in the construction of the monument
